Just a brief update about the future of the podcast. The name will be changing to "Deficient Vegans" on Monday, October 6th. We just wanted to give some info and a heads up so you all aren't surprised when you see the change in your podcast app!

Hi everybody. Welcome to a very short episode of the VeGAINS Fitness and Nutrition podcast. I'm the muscle deficient vegan here with the protein deficient vegan. Do you wanna say hi?
Protein Deficient Vegan:Hi.
Muscle Deficient Vegan:So this episode is just to give an update on the future of the podcast. We've taken a bit of a break here, but we've had a lot going on behind the scenes. The protein deficient vegan quit her chemical engineering job and is now doing her recipe blog and content creation full time. So she's been extremely busy upskilling and, uh, perfecting her craft.
Protein Deficient Vegan:Yes, I've learned how to take better food pictures so that I could be accused of using AI every week.
Muscle Deficient Vegan:That does seem to be happening. It's kind of hilarious to the point where you have to take like pictures of the camera set up
Protein Deficient Vegan:Yes.
Muscle Deficient Vegan:To try to debunk the
Protein Deficient Vegan:very inception.
Muscle Deficient Vegan:So yeah, you, you went way too hard, way too fast. And now people think all your pictures are AI, which they're definitely not.
Protein Deficient Vegan:They're not.
Muscle Deficient Vegan:Going forward for the podcast, we're gonna be rebooting the podcast on Monday, October 6th. New episodes will be released every Monday morning. We've got a lot of cool topics and ideas, and maybe even a couple of guests. We're not gonna be like a big guest podcast, but we've got a couple that have, uh, you know, reached out. So we might go that direction and we're really excited to get back into it. The name of the podcast will also be changing. But it'll still be in the same place and in the same feed, so you don't have to do anything with your podcast app. You'll keep getting the episodes. The one exception there is if you are listening on YouTube, the podcast will be moving to its own YouTube channel. So I will get that linked in the show notes, but you'll also be able to find it on our social media accounts in the bio. The new name of the podcast is gonna be Deficient Vegans. This lines up a little better with our individual accounts and also helps everybody recognize us by name a little easier. The name of the podcast now, VeGAINS Fitness and Nutrition was like the original name of our little adventure into content creation here. Uh, but the only thing it's used for anymore is the podcast. So some people have found that confusing. You should see the new name and the logo pop up in your podcast app on or around October 6th when we release the next full episode. If you have any ideas for specific things you'd like to hear about, reach out to either of us, wherever you like to do internet things. We're everywhere pretty much, and thanks for bearing with us through the change and we look forward to talking with you all again soon.
